Look into if your neighborhood or town hosts a St. Patrick’s Day parade. It’s a fun way to celebrate this green holiday with your family while watching the different floats go by and seeing Irish dancers. Kids can take part by collecting candy or beads that are given out by the different floats.

Something that’s super easy to create is making fun rainbows out of rainbow cheerios. Glue cheerios of appropriate color in the shape of a rainbow onto a piece of paper using liquid or hot glue. Finish it off with cotton ball clouds. You can even glue some gold coins to add a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
If you’re on the prowl for a recipe to cook for a St. Patrick’s Day meal look no further. Go for a classic meal like corned beef, cabbage, cooked carrots and potatoes. If you’re feeling extra festive you can even have a sweet drink of green river soda!
